It is recommended to test your device and pendants monthly to ensure they are working properly.
Follow the steps below to test your device and pendants.
Press the transmitter button firmly and release. The device will emit a loud siren and then go silent. Important! Make sure to not be within 5 feet of the device when testing.
The communication light will go from green to orange.
To test the base device, press the large emergency call button.
- The device will state “Call in Progress” and then “Call Connected”.
- Inform the operator that this is just a test and no help is needed.
- The device will reset in between tests and the communication light will go from orange to green.
- Important! Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds between tests.
