It is recommended to test your device and pendants monthly to ensure they are working properly.
Grab the Active Guardian and hold it in your hand.
- Press the button firmly and hold until the device vibrates and the blue LED turns solid.
- Let go and the device will then start ringing and announce a call is in progress.
- When the AVA (automated voice assistant) or an operator answers the alarm, state you are “just testing and do not need help”
- The operator will reset the device in between tests.
- Important! Be sure to wait at least 60 seconds between tests.
